Site work and paving for a civil project in Beach Haven, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

For the following project: 2023 Bulkhead Replacement Project- Pelham Ave and Pearl St.- The work under this contract shall include the removal and disposal of 125 LF of timber bulkhead, two (2) 24-inch RCP outfall pipes and 120 SY of asphalt roadway and the construction of 120 LF of new vinyl bulkhead, two (2) outfall pipes (60 LF HDPE), 120 SY asphalt restoration, 250 SY stone restoration and 30 SY paver driveway restoration. The Contractor shall provide all other necessary incidental work to complete the project as specified. The bidder should be aware this project has a seasonal work restriction between June 19, 2023 and September 8, 2023. Prospective Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the job site prior to submission of BID, to familiarize themselves with site conditions. No downloaded documents will be accepted as we cannot guarantee accuracy. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same. Bidders are required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Borough of Beach Haven in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required. The Borough of Beach Haven hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Borough further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Borough.
