Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Jordanville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
CR Number: 2095064 The items of work under the contract include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: The project will completely remove the existing crossing and replace the structure. The new bridge will consist of a precast concrete arch supported on cast-in-place concrete footings on bedrock. New cast-in-place concrete wingwalls will be installed at all four corners. A new retaining wall will be installed along the southwest approach to support the highway embankment. The project includes approximately 160 feet of full depth roadway construction. New bridge rail and approach rail will be installed within the project limits. Traffic will be maintained utilizing an off-site detour during construction. Electrical connections and services will be required at two properties. Replacement of Wiltse Hill Road (Cr95) Large Culvert Over Otsquago Creek Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Contract term: 2023 Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance, payment, and guarantee bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid. This project is subject to the provisions of Chapter 605, Laws of the State of New York of 1959, Section 103-A of The General Municipal Law and subsequent amendments.
