Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Jordanville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This work shall consist of furnishing, placing, grading, compacting, and trimming shoulder backup material of the type indicated adjacent to shoulders to the lines, grades, and locations indicated in the contract documents or to the lines, grades, and locations directed by the Engineer, in accordance with these specifications and details shown in the plans. The Jordanville Rd project will consist of the resurfacing of 6.4 miles of roadway in the towns of Warren & Stark. The work will include milling out the existing asphalt shoulders, recycling of the remaining existing asphalt surface and paving binder (2) & top (1.5) courses of WMA. Work will also include removal and replacement of approximately 1300 of box beam guide rail and nine (9) road culverts will be replaced with new SICPP culverts. Intersections and driveways will be regraded and matched to the new road surface with new stone subbase or asphalt to match the existing intersection and driveway surfaces. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish performance, payment, and guarantee bonds from an acceptable Surety Company for an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid.
