Respondents to this tender are asked to include playground designs that include varying challenges for children aged 18 months to 12 years, as well as for children with varying mental and physical abilities. Respondents must conform as closely as possible to the indicated size. Suppliers are encouraged to use creative methods of fulfilling the recommendations of CAN-CSA-Z614-07, or latest revision. Lagoon City Beach and Park is located in Lagoon City north of 114 Lake Ave. Similar to above, Respondents to this tender are asked to include playground designs that include varying challenges for children aged 18 months to 12 years, as well as for children with varying mental and physical abilities. Respondents must conform as closely as possible to the indicated size. Suppliers are encouraged to use creative methods of fulfilling the recommendations of CAN-CSA-Z614-07, or latest revision. The budget is $195,000; this amount is provided to assist the Proponent in the preparation of a bid that meets both the playgrounds criteria of maximized play value, safety, durability, appearance, and warranty at a cost that is consistent with the budget allocation. As well, this includes excavation of the play area, required drainage, geotextile fabric, engineered wood fibre safety surface and edging. Award subject to final approval.
