Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brechin, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The purpose of this tender is to solicit bids from qualified contractors to; - Pulverize to a depth of 200mm, Grade and compact the granular material then repave the surface as depicted in the specification at 6 locations in the Township. - Full Depth Mill 60mm-125mm (4-5") at locations with curb (Laguna Parkway and Simcoe Road) or where full depth pavement patching will occur (Ramara Road 46, Concession Road B/C and Concession Road A) - Tack Coat to be applied between pavement lifts where specifications calls for two lifts of asphalt. - Cut, regrade and pave existing paved driveways to match road transition. - Apply gravel and grade elevation transition at two bridge abutments and one intersection on Laguna Parkway. - Apply Shouldering material along newly paves sections. - Reset Manholes as required - Complete the pavement marking after completion of paving. - All Material is to be spread with an elevation controlled Hot mix Paver and the Paver is to be supplied with a Material Transfer Vehicle which is fed by applicable Trucks.
