Contractor agrees to bush hog, mow and/or weed eat all mowable areas within the right-of-way on the referenced tracts twice per month between April 1, 2023 and October 31, 2023. Contractor should trim all areas that will not allow a mower with a weed eater. In addition, any overhanging vegiatation or fallen/downed large limbs or trees, regardless of size, are to be removed by Contractor. NOTE: Prior to invoicing, contractor must notify Crystal Danker at (865) 594-0220 with the Property Management Office during or after each mowing session for verification. Contractor must invoice the Department of Transportation each month April, 2023 through October, 2023. A certificate of insurance for liability must be furnished to the State before a bid can be placed. Any bid placed without a certificate of insurance for liability will not be accepted. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and the decision of the Property Management Office will be final. IN ADDITION: Successful bidder will be responsible for compliance with all applicable safeguards, including (but not limited to) placement of all necessary erosion controls during the work to satisfy contract. ** All materials are to be properly disposed of in a permitted landfill.
