Project generally includes tree thinning, full log removal from both parcels, ladder fuel removal, slash piling and burning at the city owned Wastewater Treatment Plant (Parcel 1, 30 acres in size located at 1000 S. Locust St.) and Edgington Road Property (Parcel 2, 10 acres in size located at 68416 Brooks Scanlon Logging RD) in Sisters, Oregon. Project generally includes tree thinning, full log removal from both parcels, ladder fuel removal, slash piling and burning at the city owned Wastewater Treatment Plant and the city owned Edgington Road Property in Sisters, Oregon.. There will be no Pre-Bid Conference for the Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project. This project is subject to the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870 regarding payment of prevailing wages. Bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board (ORS 701.055) or the bid will not be received or considered. Intent to Award March 22, 2023 Council Contract Award March 29, 2023 It is the intent of the City of Sisters to achieve substantial completion by December 31, 2023. All requests for clarification shall be made in writing (email pbertagna@ci.sisters.or.us) and a Clarification Addenda will be issued at least 72 hrs prior to bid opening. This is a Public Works Contract and subject to Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Prevailing Wage Rates Effective July 1, 2022 for Region 10. The City reserves the right to reject all proposals or any proposal not conforming to the requirements of the Contract Documents, and postpone the awarding of the contract for a period of not more than 30 days from the bid opening date.
