287-17-18568-02 Scope :The construction of a new single story 14,036 gross square foot steel framed building for use as a research laboratory building on the farm campus of North Carolina A&T State University. The building has a metal panel rain screen exterior wall with both aluminum composite metal wall panel and corrugated exposed fastener metal wall panel. The building includes small areas of perforated, corrugated metal wall panel screens in front of aluminum storefront. The interior spaces include a small creamery, four research lab spaces, offices, a small commercial kitchen, and supporting spaces. This project will include the following alternates: Alternate G1: Furnish and install corrugated, perforated metal wall panel in locations indicated in the contract documents. Base bid shall not include the installation of corrugated, perforated metal wall panels as indicated in the documents. Alternate G2: Furnish and install all kitchen equipment indicated in the contract documents. Base bid shall include limited kitchen equipment as indicated in the documents. Alternate G-3: Furnish and install epoxy flooring in locations indicated in the contract documents. Base bid shall be furnishing and installing sealed concrete flooring at locations identified to receive epoxy flooring as indicated in the documents. Alternate G-4: Furnish and install custom and premium metal wall panel colors at locations indicated in the contract documents. Base bid shall be providing manufacturer's standard colors for all metal wall panels as indicated in the documents. Alternate G-5: Furnish and install custom and premium metal wall panel colors at locations indicated in the contract documents. Base bid shall be providing manufacturer's standard colors for all metal wall panels as indicated in the documents. Alternate G-6: Furnish and install applied vinyl graphics in locations indicated in the contract documents. Base bid shall be furnishing and installing interior paint, gypsum wallboard surfaces at locations to receive applied vinyl graphics as indicated in the documents.
