Site work and paving for a road / highway in Geneva, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of the following major elements: Furnishing all products and performing all labor necessary for the resurfacing of approximately 3.5 miles of roadway, including all necessary traffic control, paving, spot leveling, striping as identified and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete the work. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid. The Bidder proposes and agrees, if this bid is accepted, to contract with the Geneva County Commission in the form of contract agreement specified, to furnish all necessary products, machinery, tools, apparatus, means of transportation, material and labor necessary to complete the construction of the work in full and complete accordance with the reasonably intended requirements of the contract documents and the "Alabama Department of Transportation Standard Specifications For Highway Construction", latest edition, and the full and entire satisfaction of the Geneva County Commission. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with its bid, security in the amount of, form of and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. No bidder may withdraw its bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
