Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Wisconsin Ave is being proposed to be widened to allow for on-street bike lanes while keeping parking. The sidewalk along the north side of Wisconsin Ave is proposed to be replaced with a multiuse trail which will connect to Wisconsin Ave Park. River Parkway and 63rd Street are proposed to be reconstructed at a higher elevation to be above the 100-year flood elevation of the adjacent Menomonee River. We will apply for DOT STP funding to offset a portion of our costs to reconstruct Harwood Ave and Watertown Plank Road. Alleys for 2026 have not been identified yet This project is in included in the City of Wauwatosa FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of February 23, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
