Renovation of an educational facility in Perris, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 03/09/2023 Only one bid was submitted. The district rejected the bid and has chosen not to award at this time. The remodel of the multi purpose room at the Perris Lake High School campus. Questions regarding this Bid may be directed in writing only, via email, to Sylvia Hinojosa at sylvia.hinojosa@puhsd.org. Questions will be accepted no later than the close of business (4:00 P.M.) on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. A payment bond is required for a public works contract involving an expenditure in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract amount, are required, and shall be provided to the District prior to execution of the Contract and shall be in the form set forth in the Contract Documents. All bonds (Bid, erformance, and Payment) must be issued by a California admitted surety as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. Contractor's State License Board. Contractors and Subcontractors are required by law to be licensed and regulated by the California Contractors' License Board. District Sends Out Notice of Intent to Award 3/08/2023 1. Demolition of small room 1.1. 3 walls 1.2. Infill existing door to this room 1.3. Repair walls 2. Demo Interior east wall 3. Rebuild interior east wall - 6' to the west 3.1. Extend interior walls to new east wall 3.2. Add one additional 3/0 door at north end of wall 3.3. Rebuild same wall using the same windows and new doors 3.4. Move any electrical to same location in the new wall 3.5. PUHSD will install door lock hardware 4. Close off hallway 4.1. Match new wall to existing walls 5. Add 4/0 exterior door 5.1. Add threshold and concrete ramp from existing walkway to match door elevation 5.2. Door to include door closer 6. Add double doors 6.1. Doors to include door closer 6.2. Add wall to create storage room with 4/0 door 16. Add wall to create office space with 3/0 door 16.1. Add lighting and light switch for this office 17. Reconfigure A/C ducting to provide a supply to new office 18. Replace all T Bar and ceiling tiles in entire MPR area 18.1. Include classroom areas 19. Add 2 - 4'x6' windows on exterior wall 20. Add 5' gate with fencing 21. Add 5' gate with fencing 22. Demolish existing flag pole and footing 23. Replace all existing light fixtures with new LED light fixtures 23.1. Oracle Lighting - 2'x4' Architectural Shallow Plenum Recessed LED Troffer Fixtures - or equal to be approved by PUHSD 24. Install 7 ' high free standing wall with glass block along top of the wall 24.1. Add additional power and date in this location - Location to be determined 25. Add power and data at free standing wall and reception desk location
