Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Beaver City, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,481-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work consists of a new freestanding men's / women's restroom facility of approximately 1481 sq. ft, including covered porch. The Work includes, but is not limited to selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, lawns and grasses cast-in-place concrete, unit masonry assemblies, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, metal plate connected wood trusses, building insulation, spray polyurethane foam insulation and air barrier system, metal roof panels, soffits, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, access doors and frames, door hardware, gypsum sheathing, gypsum board assemblies, epoxy flooring, painting, toilet compartments, signs, post and panel signs, toilet and bath accessories, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and clean-up and removal of construction debris. Electronic copies of the plans will be available and shall be arranged with and paid for directly to MacoEvansville Blue (non-refundable). Partial sets of documents are not available. Deposits will be refunded to contractors who submit a bona fide proposal to the Owner (directly or through a prime contractor) and return the documents, in an acceptable and reusable condition within ten days of the opening of the bids. Partial sets of documents are not available from the office of the Architect. Bid Guaranty in the form of a Bid Bond (Proposal bonds with Contractor acting as surety are not acceptable), Certified Check, or cash shall accompany each bid. The amount of the bid Guaranty shall be not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid set forth in the Proposal Form. All bid Guaranties shall be made payable to the Ohio County Schools. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days therefrom. The scoring of bids/proposals is subject to Reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders and Preferences for a Qualified Bidder. Please refer to specification sections 00220 and 00450. The Owner reserves the right to determine the ability of any bidder to perform the work, and upon the request of the Owner, any bidder shall furnish such information as may be required to make this determination. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance and payment bond and a material and payment bond in an amount equal to at least One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract price. The premium for the bonds shall be included in the proposal amount(s). The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the Owner and to reject any bid where evidence of information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the Bidder is qualified to carry out the details of the Contract Documents.
