All Work is Under Existing Roads and Shoulders. Roads to Be Sawcut and Patched Back With 8 Ac Over 12 of Base Per City of Stockton R-36 Detail Unless Otherwise Noted. A Portion of the New Water is in the Secured Twic Area of the Port on Embarcadero. The Remaining Portion West of Humphreys and on Davis Avenue. Contractor is Expected to Provide at Least Two Water Crews to Meet the Schedule. All Submittals Are Due 21 Days From Notice of Award. Crews Need Twic Cards 21 Days From Notice of Award or Contractor to Pay $2,000 a Day Per 5 Persons to Escort to Avoid Schedule Delay. Work Shall Be Finally Completed Within 65 Working Days From the Date When Contract Time Commences To Run. 6. Required Contractor S License(S). A California a Contractor License is Required to Bid This Contract. Joint Ventures Must Secure a Joint Venture License Prior to Award of This Contract . Department of Homeland Security Requirements. All Service Provider and Contractor Personnel Who Will at Any Time Be Present on the Project Site Must Obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (Twic) From the Transportation Security Administration. 8. Prevailing Wage Laws. The Successful Bidder Must Comply With All Prevailing Wage Laws Applicable to the Project, and Related Requirements Contained in the Contract Documents. 9. Instructions. Bidders Shall Refer to Document 00200 (Instructions to Bidders) for Required Documents and Items to Be Submitted in Sealed Envelopes for Deposit at the Stockton Port District Administration Building Lobby. 10. Substitution of Securities. Port Will Permit Successful Bidder to Substitute Securities for Retention Monies Withheld to Ensure Performance of Contract, as Set Forth in Document 00680 (Escrow Agreement for Security Deposits in Lieu of Retention), in Accordance With California Public Contract Code, Section 22300. By This Reference, Document 00680 (Escrow Agreement for Security Deposits in Lieu of Retention) is Incorporated in Full in This Document 00100 Any Bidder Arriving After That Time Will Not Be Permitted to Attend the Meeting or Bid on the Work.
