Notice is hereby given that the City of Laguna Niguel (City) has determined that all bidders on the Residential Annual Resurfacing Program Zones III & IV - Phase 2 (Project) to be undertaken by the City must be pre-qualified prior to submitting a bid on the project. It is mandatory that all Contractors who intend to submit a bid, fully complete the pre-qualification questionnaire, provide all materials requested herein, and be approved by the City to be on the final qualified bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements. See attached documents for details. The general items of work for the project consists of: crack sealing, slurry seal, clearing and grubbing, mobilization, traffic control, and pavement striping and stenciling . All work shall be completed within 60 working days from the date of the Notice to Proceed with Construction Activities, anticipated to start in June 2023. The estimated engineering cost for the project is $2,000,000. Contractors are encouraged to submit pre-qualification applications as soon as possible, so that they may be notified of omissions of information to be remedied or of their pre-qualification status well in advance of the bid advertisement for this project.
