Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

The City of Altus, herein after called the "City," is seeking bids for the construction of the Altus Downtown Event Park Phase 1 including site demolition, asphalt paving, concrete work, landscaping, irrigation, site electrical, plumbing, pre-manufactured canopy structure, site furnishings, and signage. The City reserves the right to award this bid in whole or in part as deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, veteran status or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. "Qualified" is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidder's errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. The Work consists of select site demolition, asphalt paving, sidewalk and site concrete, landscaping and irrigation, concrete masonry, metal bollards, site lighting and electrical, plumbing, pre-manufactured canopy structure, site furnishings, and site signage. Work under this section shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for excavation, trenching, and backfilling for utility systems. Utility systems shall Include underground piping and appurtenances for gas, gasoline, oil, and water distribution systems, Storm water drains, and sewage collection systems. Excavation for PVC pipe systems is not included with this section.
