Site work and paving for a civil project in Mariposa, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project is subject to the "Buy America" provisions. A valid Class 'A' General Engineering Contractor is required. This project is to improve the Mariposa Public Utility District sewer collection system. The construction will require but not be limited to: furnishing and installing 8" Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pipe in open cut trench excavations; manholes; service laterals and clean-outs; all site clearing, existing improvement and utility protection; utility coordination; potholing; excavation; bypass pumping; removal and replacement of existing pipe and manholes; confined space entry; pipe, gaskets, and materials; pipe slope anchors; bedding; backfill; compaction; connections to existing sanitary sewer pipe, removal and disposal of trench spoils; surface restoration, pipe testing, complete as specified and as indicated on drawings. The project requires prevailing wage and DBE certification.
