Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Sandstone, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; 3,500-square-foot municipal facility; and 2,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The City of Sandstone has acquired the building and property, which was formerly the location of True Value, 310 Main Avenue. The Economic Development Authority of the City of Sandstone, Minnesota, is in need of construction services to bring this vacant building up to code and to a usable condition. At this time, the identified repairs include: a new roof, parapet repairs, replace alley door & threshold, replace exterior blocks on building by alley door area, core fill all cement blocks, sandblast and skim coat exterior, replace windows, update plumbing and heating systems, and remove hazardous materials (where encountered). The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
