2023 Paving Program - Federal Aid Buyout Cinder Road The work involves paving over aggregate base or pulverized base or wedging or overlaying existing pavements and related work at the locations shown on the individual project drawings. The HMA mixture shall be provided to meet the requirements of the standard specifications for construction except where modified herein. The HMA mixture quality assurance and acceptance shall conform to Section 501 of the 2020 Michigan Department ofTransportation Standard Specifications for Construction except where modified herein. The MDOT HMA Production Manual, current edition, applies to this work. The contractor QC plan is to be submitted 1 week before production and approved by BCRC prior to placing asphalt. The contractor shall perform daily HMA QC tests per special provision and submitthem to BCRC. BCRC reserves the right to request HMA QA samples anytime during asphalt production. COMPLETION DATE - July 31, 2023 Any questions on the proposed work defined in this bid package shall be directed to Scott Fasel or Matt Skeels, at the Benzie County Road Commission at (231) 325-3051
