Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2, Pflugerville, Texas Pursuant to Section 271.116 of the Texas Local Government Code, it is the intention of the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 to select a prime contractor by using the competitive sealed proposal process for Warehouse Modifications work located at Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 Central Supply Facility, 911 W Pflugerville Parkway, BLDG B, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled proposal opening deadline. All proposals received after the scheduled proposal opening deadline will be returned unopened. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cashier s check or acceptable proposal bond payable to the Travis County ESD No. 2 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total proposed contract sum, plus alternates as submitted. The successful proposer will be required to furnish payment bonds and performance bonds in amounts equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, in accordance with Chapter 2253 of the Texas Government Code, within five (5) days of the contract award. Selection of the successful proposer will be based on the selection criteria set forth in the instructions to proposers. In case of ambiguity, duplication, or obscurity in the proposals, the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 reserves the right to construe the meaning thereof. The Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2 further reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and waive any informalities and irregularities in any and/or all proposals received. Contractors and subcontractors shall pay to laborers, workmen and mechanics the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Travis County Emergency Services District No. 2.
