A Cashier s Check or Certified Check drawn on a solvent bank authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, payable to the Sandusky County Regional Airport Authority, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract price, or a Bid Guaranty Bond executed by the bidder and a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the Authority in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price shall be submitted with each bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required. A Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the amount of the contract will be required and shall guarantee against defective or inferior materials or workmanship which may develop during the period of one (1) year from the date of the Owner s final settlement with the contractor. Bids may be held by the Sandusky County Regional Airport Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract.
