Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Quincy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work under this contract includes but is not limited to the excavation and relocation of 9,000 cubic yards of soil; construction of a 600-foot-long, 3-foot-high stone veneer retaining wall; placement of 12-inches of loam and seeding over disturbed areas. The stone veneer will be placed on a reinforced cast-in-place concrete wall. The work will include all associated mobilization and demobilization, field engineering, traffic management, and other appurtenances The Bidder must be pre-qualified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation for Highway Construction. Detailed specifications are available on-line at the City of Quincy's website and also available at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Quincy City Hall, 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts, 02169, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Specifications will be available February 22, 2023.
