Sealed proposals will be received by the McHenry County Division of Transportation for the following improvements: McHenry County MFT Contract Construction Section 23-00561-00-RS This Work Consists of WMA & Paving, HMA Milling, HMA Patching, , ADA Upgrades, Guardrail Removal and Installation, Concrete Curb Removal & Placement, Sidewalk Removal & Replacement, Landscaping and Striping of 8.79 miles of County Roads along with other necessary and related work. The County reserves the right to reject any, or all proposals and to waive technicalities. Prequalification of bidders in accordance with the provisions of check sheet #LRS6 of the State of Illinois Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions is required. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by McHenry County or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work as indicated in the Special Provisions of the Specifications. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the bid, or as provided in check sheet #LRS6 of the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions.
