Renovation of an educational facility in Woodstock, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project includes: Locker room shower replacement including all associated architectural and plumbing work. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive technicalities A Bid Bond or Certified check made payable to Community Unit School District 200 in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will furnish the required Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, execute the Contract and proceed with the work. Upon failure to do so, the Contractor shall forfeit the check or amount of Bid Bonds as liquidated damages. No mistakes or errors on the part of the Bidder shall excuse the Bidder or entitle it to a return of the Check or Bid Bond. No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of 60 days after the date of opening thereof. CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE: Construction is to begin on or after June 1, 2023, Substantial Completion by August 4, 2023. Substantial Completion is defined as all improvements except punchlist items. PREQUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: All bidders will submit a resume of similar projects performed, enumerated as to location, type of work, approximate completion date, and project engineering/architectural firm. Additionally, all bidders will submit a list of equipment owned by, or available to them, for the efficient pursuance of the project.
