The Campbellsville Housing & Redevelopment Authority will be accepting sealed bids for the following HVAC work: The supply and installation of furnace and air conditioning units as follows: Approximately 72 units with furnace only to be replaced, approximately 79 units with furnace and air conditioning to be replaced, (total of approximately 151 Furnace units and 79 a/c units). The bidder is to furnish all furnace and a/c units as well as the removal of old units and installation of the new A/C unit specs (79 units): Carrier or equivalent 10 year/5 year 2 ton split system air conditioner Scroll compressor 14 seer Filter-Drier supplied Copper tube/aluminum fin coil Factory charged with R-410A 10 year compressor limited warranty 5 year parts limited warranty 10 year coil limited warranty Cased coil 14" wide with: a) Aluminum hairpin/return-bend /fin b) Bolt on TXV metering device factory installed 30 X 30 2" plastic condenser pad Sweat line set 3/8 x 5/8 x 50 Digital thermostat *Please provide list of current replacement parts costs* Furnace specs (151 total): Carrier or equivalent 20 year/5 year 92.1% AFUE 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace (135 units) 80% AFUE 60,000 BTU Gas Furnace (16 units) Single Stage Multi-position Direct Ignition Direct Vent Casing Dimensions 35 x 29.5 x 14.20 RPJ Primary Heat Exchanger Stainless Steel Secondary Slide Out Heat Exchanger & Blower 20 year heat exchanger warranty 5 year parts warranty *Please provide list of current replacement parts costs* Bidder responsible for disposal of old units. Bids should reflect everything needed to install units such as piping, insulation wrap, etc... (Average run is 40 foot.) Please format bid to reflect cost on a complete install price per unit. Please include in bid approximate time frame for completion Bid security in the minimum amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Insurances. The Davis-Bacon Act and related requirements apply to this HUD funded project, which includes reporting and submission of prevailing wage documentation, as well as compliance with HUD section 3 requirements. Winning Bidder must have appropriate HVAC licensing, and insurance. Must not be on HUD debar list CHRA reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such action is in the best interest of the housing authority and to waive any and all informalities and minor irregularities. The CHRA reserves the right to cancel the solicitation for any reason it deems is in the best interest of CHRA. CHRA is an Equal Opportunity Agency.
