The University of Connecticut Health Center (UConn Health) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to provide annual preventive maintenance (PM) and on call repair service for hospital transfer switches at UCH. Repair services may also include emergency repairs, if required. The equipment must be maintained to provide reliable life safety, critical and backup power in compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and The Joint Council (TJC) standards. TJC standards are applicable at the Musculoskeletal Institute (MSI) and Outpatient Pavilion (OP). All work shall be in strict accordance with federal, state, and local codes and ordinances and comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
