The project consists of 1325l' of 6'', 445' of 8'', 1720' of 12'', 2085 of 14'' 18 each services and 2 boring sleeves under spur line railroad tracks. Remove and replace 11 fire hydrants including laterals. Roads to be sawcut and patched back with 8'' AC over 12'' of base per City of Stockton R-36 detail unless otherwise noted. Half the work is in the secured TWIC area of the Port on Embarcadero. The remaining section is on the west side of Humphreys. Contractor is expected to provide at least two crews to meet the schedule. All submittals are due 21 days from Notice of Award. Crews need TWIC cards 21 days from Notice of Award or contractor to pay $2,000 a day per 5 persons to escort to avoid schedule delay. Weekend work for shut downs and tie-ins shall be included in contractor's bid. CONTRACT TIME. Work shall be finally completed within 65 working days from the date when Contract Time commences to run. REQUIRED CONTRACTORS LICENSE(S). A California A Contractor License is required to Bid this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS. Port specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, or rebid, or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements not involving time, price, or quality of the Work.
