Construction work, in general, consists of the following: Central Zone Pipeline Replacement: Approximately 45 feet of 30-inch ductile iron, 1,400 feet of 24-inch ductile iron, sections of 16-inch, 12-inch and 8-inch ductile iron culinary water pipe at an average bury depth of 4 feet to top of pipe, including valves, fittings, 9 existing waterlines tieovers, 7 service lateral tie-overs, asphalt removal, concrete removal and replacement, and abandoning the existing waterlines and valves. Springwater Zone Pipeline Installation: Approximately 5,000 feet of 24-inch HDPE, 300 feet of 24-inch ductile iron, and sections of 12-inch ductile iron culinary water pipe with bury depths ranging from 15 to 5 feet to top of pipe, including valves, fittings, flow control valve vault, PRV vault, and asphalt removal and replacement. There is a small section of 8-inch sewer realignment and one sewer manhole as part of this section. Stormwater/Overflow Pipeline: Approximately 1,400 feet of 30-inch HDPE, 3,000 feet of 30- inch RCP, sections of 18-inch, 15-inch, and 12-inch polypropylene stormwater pipe at an average bury depth of 5 feet to top of pipe, including 72-inch diameter manholes, 60-inch diameter manholes, existing sump tie-overs, service lateral tie-overs, asphalt removal, and concrete removal and replacement. Road Resurfacing: Full depth reconstruction of road over installed utilities. The project is located in Orem, Utah. The pipelines will be installed along 400 South from 400 West to 600 West; then along 600 West from 400 South to 800 South; then along 800 South from 600 West to 800 West.
