The San Bernardino Municipal Water Department (SBMWD)is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish materials, labor, equipment, and related services to identify the presence of lead gooseneck connected to the user service line at the corporation stop from SBMWD inventory of galvanized and unknown service laterals. When a lead gooseneck is discovered, the successful contractor will furnish the materials, labor, equipment, and related services to replace each lead service lateral to the applicable SBMWD Standard(s) per the scope of work included in the RFP documents. Each Contractor bidding on this RFP shall possess and have any and all of their subcontractors posses, all licenses necessary to perform construction services specified under this RFP. Each Bidder shall show that he/she has completed at least five (5) similar water distribution projects within the last three (3) years. Each Bidder's Project Manager/Superintendent shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience individually, as described in the Scope of Work. The Project Manager/Superintendent may not be removed from the Project without the expressed written consent of the Department and will not be considered without significant extenuating circumstances.
