Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Douglas Flat, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The County of Calaveras will receive sealed bids for Construction of the Monge Ranch Road Bridge, County Project No. 1200-1804. This project, generally described, consists of replacing the existing bridge over Coyote Creek on Monge Ranch Road and improving the approach roadway. The replacement bridge will be a single span 60 feet long by 25.5 feet wide precast pre-stressed concrete slab bridge. Monge Ranch Road is not a through street and therefore does not have alternative access to the east. As a result, staged construction will be utilized to allow the roadway to remain open during construction. The roadway centerline will be shifted north in order to construct one half of the replacement structure while maintaining through traffic on the existing bridge.
