Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Edgewater, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of April 14, 2023, project was awarded to Metro Paver Inc., awarded amount is $442,527.43. The City seeks a contractor with a reliable, experienced, and qualified history in sidewalk, curb and gutter, asphalt and storm sewer construction. Work includes various improvements to 12 Sites identified as needing improvements to ADA accessibility, pedestrian safety, and drainage. Please note that Site 10 is an alternate bid item. The City may elect to deduct this Bid Item from the total bid at its discretion. In addition to the projects specified in the plans, the City will be directing the Contractor to repair small portions of damaged sidewalk throughout the City. The City has allocated funds specifically for the purpose of sidewalk repair and will identify as many repairs as the budget allows. Bidders shall provide a unit price per square yard for this work and will be paid at this rate for repairs outside the bid items. Please indicate firm bid amounts for performing the construction services detailed in this RFB. Price should include mobilization, all equipment costs, all labor costs and administrative costs. There will be no cost for permits through the City of Edgewater. Edgewater staff will coordinate the waiver of permit costs, however, the contractor will still need to make application and submit all plans for permits. The City operates under applicable public disclosure laws. Proprietary information must be identified and will be protected to the extent that is legally possible.
