Scope of Work The Township of Stirling-Rawdon, the Municipality of Centre Hastings and the Township of Madoc are seeking quotations from qualified firms or individuals for the provision of the following services: Domestic Waste Collection and Disposal Services The services to be provided under this part shall consist of the supply of all materials, vehicles, facilities, equipment, and labor necessary for the operation of the following waste collection services: 1. Collection and disposal of curbside domestic waste from the former village of Stirling on a weekly basis with disposal at Stirling-Rawdon landfill. 2. Collection and disposal of curbside domestic waste from the former township of Rawdon on a bi-weekly basis with disposal at Stirling-Rawdon landfill. 3. Collection and disposal of curbside domestic waste from the Municipality of Centre Hastings on a weekly basis with disposal at Centre Hastings landfill. 4. Collection and disposal of curbside domestic waste from the Township of Madoc on a weekly basis with disposal at Centre Hastings landfill. Provision of a separate option to provide a green bin/household organics program for the Township of Stirling-Rawdon only. Note: The collection and disposal of household hazardous waste, tires, scrap metal and recyclable items are not part of this RFP. The preference of this RFP process is for the municipalities to enter into a four-year agreement with the successful bidder. The municipalities encourage an extension provision that would permit the municipalities and successful bidder extending beyond the four-year term with mutually agreeable terms
