For the purposes of this RFP, the City will only consider proponents that provide Cellular LTE-M AMI solutions to achieve the best ultimate solution for the City's customers and enhance operational efficiency. Work locations within commercial properties will be provided at the pre-construction meeting upon award of the RFP, council approval and receipt of bonds. ( A Performance and Payment bond will be required of the awarded supplier) The pilot program will be referred to as 'Phase I' and will be the first phase consisting to replace manual read water meters with AMI ultrasonic water meters within two commercial routes in two separate cycles. The second phase, referred to as 'Phase II', will consist of the remaining commercial meters and residential meters that are for new construction sets and the meter replacement program consisting of approximately 3,472 meters annually, and will follow the commercial pilot program, 'Phase I' once it has been completed.
