The City of Norton, Virginia is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ's) from qualified firms or individuals to provide Professional Architectural/Engineering/Planning Services. These services are required to support a variety of construction, infrastructure, and public works projects. The City proposes to award a one-year contract (with three (3) one year renewal option years) for a variety of professional architectural, engineering, planning, and/or project management services. The services are expected to be comprehensive and among other services may include: general consulting; surveying services that support architectural, engineering, transportation, planning, services; preliminary architectural & engineering and reports; landscape architecture; project designs and completion of contract documents; assistance with regulatory agencies; construction administration and inspection. In addition, services may include assisting the City with the development of funding applications for local, state, and/or federal agencies and the coordination and management of projects that result from grant awards. The City of Norton uses "competitive negotiation" to select professional consultants. Interested firms may submit their Statements of Qualifications for one, multiple, or all of the services/disciplines listed above. The specific services/disciplines for which the firm wishes to be considered is to be listed in the Statement of Qualifications.
