This contract is briefly described as follows: Removal of existing paving (Loranger Street); Replacement of the cast iron heads of manholes, sumps, and valve box (rue Guibord and rue Loranger); Replacement of concrete curbs (rue Guibord and rue Loranger) Installation of crushed MG-20 (rue Loranger) and bituminous mixes (the 3 streets) Repair of surfaces affected by the work; and shoulder loading (rue Évangéline and rue Guibord As well as all related work necessary for the completion of this contract. Only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec, or when an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by this agreement will be considered, for the purposes of awarding the contract. Contractors must hold the license required under the Building Act (RSQcB-1.1). The bid, to be acceptable, must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond of equal value and valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of submissions. The amount must be payable to the order of the Municipality of Saint-Paul and represent a minimum of 10% of the total amount of the tender. In accordance with the Public Procurement Act, the deadline for submitting complaints to the Municipality for this call for tenders is March 6, 2023.
