McElwee, PE, will be received electronically for "Construction of Paving Facilities in Lago Vista Central Park Boulevard for Galveston CountyMunicipal Utility District No. 57, GalvestonCounty, Texas." when prompted. Scope of Work of the Contract includes construction of paving facilities. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bondor a certified or cashier's check, acceptable tothe Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter intothe Contract and execute the Bonds on theforms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days afterthe date Contract Documents are received bythe Contractor. If a certified or cashier's checkis provided, the successful bidder shall deliver,at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier's check within twenty-four (24)hours of receipt of the bid opening.
