1. RECEIPT OF BIDS City of Monroe, the Owner, will receive sealed Bids for construction of the Mason Road Water Main Replacement. 2. SCOPE OF PROJECT The approximate quantities of the major items of Work are: Construction of approximately 2,650 LF of 12" ductile iron and appx. 128LF 6" ductile iron water main including valves, hydrants, and other appurtenances. 3. FINANCING The Project will be financed with local funds. 6. OBTAIN BIDDING DOCUMENTS Bidding Documents may be obtained online. You may also contact the Division of Engineering office at 513.727.8953, Option #4 to obtain a copy via email. 7. BID SURETY Bid surety in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders must be submitted with each Bid. 8. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. This time period may be extended by mutual agreement of the Owner and any Bidder or Bidders. 9. RIGHT TO REJECT BIDS The City of Monroe reserves the right to reject any and all proposals/bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received and accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the City of Monroe, Ohio. 10. Owner: City of Monroe, OH The Bidder shall submit the RFI on or before March 3, 2023.
