Renovations to the existing School District of Philadelphia's Parkway NW High School consists of the renovations of the second-floor classrooms identified in the design documentation into a Science Chemistry Lab and Science Biology Lab with a shared Science Preparation Room. This project is broken down into four (4) prime contracts, General Construction, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical Contracts. The base project scope includes selective demolition of the existing interior of the building, masonry infill at existing openings, new GWB partitions, new flooring, paint, new science casework in each lab classroom and specialty equipment, new sinks in designated locations, new emergency eye wash stations, new power outlets and panels, lighting and accessories, new data and security distribution and accessories, upgraded mechanical systems and distribution to the new building layouts. The existing buildings include interior renovations of approximately 4,175 sq. ft. in total.
