Renovation of an educational facility in Orlando, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project work: 1. Existing Building: Remodeling, Renovation and Building Addition to the Existing School. Scope of demolition and removal work. 2. Portable Classrooms: Installation of (new) portable (re-locatable) classrooms and restrooms. Portable classrooms and restrooms (existing and new) will be relocated (removed from the site) after the completion of the project as indicated in the documents. 3. Sitework and Facility Systems work for the above consists of Civil, Landscape, Building &Structural, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection System. From previous solicitation: Comprehensive renovation and remodeling of the entire campus to provide improved facilities meeting Orange County Public Schools' Design Guidelines and educational program requirements. The project scope includes all renovations needed to address current deficiencies and to upgrade all building and site facilities, systems and finishes at or near the end of their useful life. The scope also provides for remodeling of existing spaces to support current programs, life safety and accessibility requirements. Construction will occur on an occupied campus. Scope will also include any temporary facilities and classrooms required to support construction phasing. Target Schedule: Design/Pre-construction Services Commencement: August 2023 Construction Notice to Proceed: October 2024 Substantial Completion: July 2026
