Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fairview, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project generally consists of the installation of approximately 985 lineal feet of 8 inch diameter water line, including valves, hydrants, sidewalk replacement and other appurtenant and restoration activities. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. Any CONTRACTOR who has pending litigation with the FAIRVIEW TOWNSHIP WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY is NOT eligible to bid on this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
