Site work for a water / sewer project in Fairview, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited to supply and perform the following materials, equipment and work: Installation of approximately 5,600 lineal feet of 8 inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer line, including precast concrete manholes, sewer laterals and other appurtenant and restoration activities on all or portions of Old Ridge Road, Pine Street, Lakeview Avenue, Exley Drive, Merritt Drive, Michael Drive and Curtze Drive. Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed at the Fairview Township Sewer Authority Office. Each bid must be submitted on the bid form provided in the bidding documents and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier s check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Fairview Township Sewer Authority in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. Any contractor who has pending litigation with the Fairview Township Water and Sewer Authority is not eligible to bid on this project. Bids may be held by the Authority for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications for bidders prior to awarding the contract.
