Site work and paving for a road / highway in Yeadon, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The successful bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBID a fee of 1/3% or a minimum $100 of the contract award value. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Performance and Payment bonds or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. This project involves milling, superpave wearing course, superpave base repair, pavement markings, joint sealing, speed humps and appurtenant work. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PENNDOT in accordance with Section 102.01 of PENNDOT Publication 408 Specifications, latest edition thereof. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owners reserve the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
