CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/10/2023 12:00 PM In general, the work on this project consists of new roadway construction, installation of concrete curbing, installation of a storm sewer system, sidewalk construction, pavement line striping, roadway repair and construction of stormwater detention system in the Borough of Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Alternate Bid No. 1: Installation of light poles and fixtures Description of Roadway Construction Perform road construction work to the road in accordance to the plans and specifications. Install 6 subbase material then install 5 Superpave Base course, Asphalt Wedge Curb, and Geotextile Fabric if and where directed. Install 1.5 of Superpave Asphalt Wearing Course Overlay. This Procedure corresponds to the Typical Section. Concrete Curbing The work includes: installation of concrete curbing in accordance to the contract documents. Roadway Repair The work includes: removing of existing pavement sections, base repairs as required full depth construction consisting of subbase, binder course and the placement of a wearing surface; for installation of a storm pipe to the existing stormwater management facility. Storm Sewer Installation This work consists of the placement of a new storm sewer system. This work consists of the placement of new storm water sewer piping and inlet structures.
