The existing rip rap (stone) is settling along the shoreline, and more is needed to fill in the voids. This is also causing erosion of the surrounding break walls and sidewalks. This will require 230 tons of Size "D" rip rap stone. Bidder is required to take Miller Ferry Boat Line to get to Middle Bass Island State Park. This is approximately a 45-minute boat ride each way. Specifications Purchase & hauling of stone and delivery to marina parking lot area Bidder must pay ferry fees for Miller Ferry Boat Line, please call Miller Ferry Boat Line to check pricing for truck & driver @ 1-800-500-2421 Completion/Delivery Date: Before close of boat transportation season. Evaluation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State. Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items.
