Renovation of a municipal facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Base Bid work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: o Removal of the existing Air Handling Unit. o Installation of new Air Handling Unit. o Removal and replacement of the existing duct work and associated appurtenances o Removal and replacement of any item connected to the Unit Substantial completion date: June 30, 2023. Final completion date: July 28, 2023. Questions pertaining to the bid package should be directed to Charles William, at (518) 434-5675 or emailed to cwilliam@albanyny.gov. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions To Bidders. If a bid deposit is not submitted with the bid, the bid may be deemed incomplete and may not be considered. Bids may be submitted by mail or other delivery system, however, it shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the bid is delivered by the date and time as specified above. The Board of Contract and Supply reserves the right to reject any bid delivered after the date and time specified above. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids. The minimum goal for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation on City of Albany projects is 15% of the total dollar amount of the contract.
