The scope pf this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of an educational facility. As of March 2, 2023, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. All questions are to be directed to the Construction Manager. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested. All questions must be in writing and sent to the following email address: shane.lounsberry@christmanco.com , no later than March 15th, 2023 at 2:00pm. No questions will be answered after this date. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers' check, money order, or bid bond made payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts by the Owner. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts. All proposals submitted shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. Post bid interviews will be scheduled for the week of April 3rd , 2023. Bidders must have availability for an interview during that week.
