The Town of Dresden is issuing a Request for Qualifications from engineering consultants/firms and from firms that provide CCTV pipeline inspection services, pursuant to the provisions of 40 U, S.C. 1101 et seq. procurement guide. The Town has received approval of an NYS Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC) Engineering Planning Grant (EPG) to undertake an inspection and evaluation of the existing sanitary sewer system for Sewer District # 1 with the goal of identifying system improvements and repairs. The total grant award is $30,000.00. The Town required local match is $6,000.00. The Town is utilizing a qualifications-based procurement procedures to evaluate professional service firms or individuals that are proposing to provide the engineering services required to inspect the system, develop an understanding of the operations and conditions of the existing system, and develop an engineering report that outlines the findings and provides preliminary recommendations for repairs, replacements, or upgrades along with an opinion of probable cost. The Town is also seeking separate proposals from firms that provide CCTV sanitary sewer and lateral pipeline inspection services. Professional service firms, individuals, or teams that are or include NYS Certified MBE or WBE firms or individuals are strongly encouraged to submit proposals in response to this RFQ. Consultants and firms are also encouraged to submit utilizing DBE sub-consultants where appropriate. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
