The United Nations Development Corporation (UNDC), a public benefit corporation of the State of New York, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide cleaning and maintenance services including pest control, light maintenance, and window cleaning at One, Two, and Three UN Plaza. The buildings are Class A (two high-rise and one mid-rise) commercial office buildings located in east midtown Manhattan. UNDC is subject to New York State Executive Order 22 which requires affected entities to reduce use of toxic substances. Vendors must utilize New York State-approved green cleaning practices and integrated pest management. The minimum required qualifications are as follows: A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in this field. Licensed by the State of New York. Liability insurance of $10,000,000. A resume of current assignments in New York City at comparable Class A office buildings. This solicitation is subject to the procurement lobbying restrictions of New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k. These statutes impose certain restrictions on communications between a governmental entity and an offerer during the procurement process.
