Renovation of a municipal facility in Beacon, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is soliciting bids for the "Maintenance Building Envelope" project at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The scope of renovation work includes installation of new windows, an exterior shell, new-sloped roof, replacement exterior doors and a new heat pump system. The maintenance building is located at the northeast end of the westbound 1-84 Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. This building is occupied and located in an area with active Bridge Authority personnel and vehicles flowing constantly throughout the area. All precautionary measures for protection of the area shall be as determined by NYSBA. All inquiries for the digital plans and specifications shall be made by emailing Teresa Ceragioli, Assistant to the Chief Engineer, at tceragioli@nysba.ny.gov. Bid Deposit: 25% bid bond or $50,000 certified or bank cashiers check is required to validate the proposers bid. Total MWBE Participation Goals: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: Completion date of October 31, 2024 The only changes to the bid documents is the bid date.
