Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Mandeville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a 6,206-square-foot fire / police facility.
COMPLETION TIME: The Bidder shall agree to fully complete the contract within ( 300 ) consecutive calendar days, subject to such extensions as may be granted in accordance with the Contract Documents, and acknowledges that this construction time will start on or before the date specified in the written "Notice to Proceed" from the Owner. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The Bidder shall agree to pay as Liquidated Damages the amount of ( one thousand ) Dollars ($ 1000 ) for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not complete, beginning with the first day beyond the completion date stated on the "Notice to Proceed". Said sum shall in no event be construed to be a penalty; but only as damages fixed and agreed upon in advance. CONSTRUCTION CLASSIFICATION: Bids will be accepted from Contractors who are properly licensed for the classification of ___Building_Construction____, (see La. R.S. 37:2156.2 for classifications). The Owner reserves the right, in accordance with law, to reject any and all bids.
