Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the renewal of the mainstage fire suppression system. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) The demolition, removal and disposal if the existing system and associated equipment. (b) The design, supply and installation of the new fire suppression system , including all new pipe, fittings, valves and ancillary equipment to ensure a complete working system. The Bidder is advised that the initial site meeting location will be the backstage parking lot behind the facility. The Contract Administrator will provide a brief safety meeting prior to entering the site. The Contract Administrator will then make the site available for investigation of the stage and wings for the bidders. The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder's direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing. The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
